“Till costs do us part”: QuickBooks Enterprise in comparison to Pro, Premier and Accountant

Brandon – MB, October 27, 2021: QuickBooks Enterprise offers advanced features and functionalities that can be tailored according to the type of industry a business caters to. This would revolve more around manufacturing, wholesalers, and construction segments.

With more complex processes and features, the software includes advanced pricing, payroll, inventory tracking and more sophisticated inventory management. QuickBooks Enterprise is deemed an appropriate fit for businesses that have outgrown QuickBooks or other entry-level accounting platforms. In comparison to Pro and Premier, Enterprise offers 13 predefined user roles, which allows control access into the program for each employee. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, payroll processor, and more.

QuickBooks Enterprise is the most expensive of QuickBooks’s suite of accounting software options According to E-Tech’s John Rocha, this version of QuickBooks would just be the right fit if a business has employees in specialized roles and functions, with multiple locations that need to be tracked and managed.

“As your business needs change, QuickBooks Enterprise lets you add more users - up to a maximum of 30 users – and is available in 1-10 user, and 30-user licenses. You can add users up to a 10-user license. If you currently have 10 users, you can upgrade to a 30-user license,” Rocha said. “Under these circumstances, most small businesses do not realize that QuickBooks Enterprise may not be the software they need especially if do not exceed the 14,500 products, customers, or vendors. Most company files do not exceed those limits and in such cases, QuickBooks Pro and Premier can offer the required features at a very economical price,” Rocha said.

Licensee fees for QuickBooks Pro costs $399.99 per user with no discount for multiple users, while QuickBooks Premier is $649.99 for one user, $999 for two users, $1,399 for three users, $1,749 for four users and $2,099 for five users. Subscription per year with QuickBooks Pro is $299.99 for one user, $499.99 for two users and $699.99 for three users. Premier costs $499.99 for one user, $799.99 for two users, $1,099.99 for three users, $1,399.99 for four users and $1,699.99 for five users. QuickBooks Accountant’s subscription fees per year are $449 for each ProAdvisor.

QuickBooks Enterprise’s yearly subscription costs are $1,275 for one user, $2,037 for two users, $2,547 for three users, $3,057 for four users and $3,566 for 40 users.
