Jackson, WI October 8, 2020 -- I realize that you all are being inundated with news about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and recognize that this can be overwhelming. I did, however, want to take a minute to let you know that we are still open and providing service to our clients. We are an “essential” service, as we know that many individuals are dependent upon us for their daily assistance, and supervision and safety. For this, I MUST recognize and THANK our tremendous staff!

In order to continue to provide quality care, we have had to increase some of the precautionary measures (sanitizing, PPE, health screenings, employee training, etc.) in our daily operations and procedures, as the safety of our staff, and the clients we serve (in your home – ComForCare Home Care, in our facility – Just Like Home Adult Day Center) is our number 1 priority!

Located in the scenic rural town of Jackson, WI, we continue to monitor the complex and rapidly evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and are reacting and adjusting accordingly. We are following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to ensure that we are making consistent, fact-based decisions about our operations, and keeping everyone involved safe.

It is imperative that we continue to follow the advised precautions for the safety of our community, staff, and clients. To do this, we are requesting your assistance:

1). If you are sick or have been exposed to the Coronavirus, please notify us prior to your scheduled appointment time. Safety (caregiver and client) MUST be the number 1 priority. If you have a home care appointment, please notify us prior to the caregiver arrival. If you are coming to the Day Center, please stay home.

2). If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact our office at (262) 674-1515 (ComForCare Home Care) or 262-423-4411 (Just Like Home Adult Day Center), as promptly as possible, so our Care Coordinator can maximize the use of our staff, and have time to rearrange schedules appropriately.

“Just Like Home Adult Day Center” is intended to be just that…Just Like Home.  Open from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, this facility will offer individuals and families the comfort of knowing that their loved one is supervised and safe, but are also staying Socially, Mentally, and Physically active. 

Just Like Home Adult Day Center offers many amenities which include carpeted sitting area with big-screen television and fireplace, piano, RN/LPN on-site at all times, live feed cameras, Activities Director, and low staff to client care ratios.
