VSIM3D is a state-of-the-art tool developed by the CnTech. VSIM3D is a testing system that generates semi-physical simulations. The testing platform was heavily utilized during the designing phases of all the CNFSimulators and will cater the testing requirements for future products as well. Software modules for the flight simulators can be developed with the usage of this testing platform and anyone can make use of it as we have given permission to use VSIM3D as an open platform.

In order to maintain the integrity and quality of our flight simulators, we have collaborated with the world’s leading universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Beihang University during the designing of VSIM3D testing platform. Apart from the universities, a close link was maintained with the China Southern Airlines, as we paid our attention to the comments on real-world aircraft operators as well. During the development stage of the VSIM3D, expertise of the universities and individual personnel who had exposure to the designing of COMAC ARJ21 was taken in to the consideration.
