New research from Airsharp: 92% of the mobile traffic of redirect advertising networks consists of fraud bots

AIRSHARP LTD today announced their new research which opened the eyes to the truth about advertising networks. Nowadays, more and more adv networks are trying to cheat their customers by selling them a poor quality traffic for the same price as a pure “white” traffic.

Nicosia, Feb 19, 2019 – Airsharp, the provider of digital products and advertising solutions that detect ad fraud and improve traffic quality, has been exploring audience of their customers during the whole 2018 year. The scoring is lined up on each click, meanwhile indicators of the intelligent system of self-learning filters and metrics has been improved in due course. In fact, 92% of traffic, it’s an average number because the percent of fraud bots may be even more, depending on each individual advertising campaign.
