A former independent and passionate greengrocer, Jerry has been unable to work throughout this prolonged health crisis.

Jerry's devoted wife, Barbara Jean, has been a pillar of strength, supporting the family and caring for her husband to the best of her abilities. Unfortunately, she is now undergoing treatment for recurrent lung cancer, compounding the challenges faced by the Baldino family.

Both Jerry and Barbara Jean are grappling with COPD and diabetes, with Jerry recently diagnosed with bladder cancer.
