Korean company discloses identity of Chinese cyberbully

Recently, the Korean company Lakai Korea publicly revealed the identity of Chinese netizens who have distorted and ridiculed Korean history.

In response to China's assault on Korean culture, the company posted a piece of satire attacking China's Northeast Project in Times Square, New York, using traditional Korean clothing, hanbok, which resulted in constant criticism by China.

In response, they declared that they would suspend sales in China indefinitely until the distorted facts are corrected and that they would pursue international lawsuits against Chinese netizens.

Now, they have signed a contract with an American law firm, and an international lawsuit will be filed in New York State, where they conducted their first hanbok advertisement.

Recently, documentation was released on their website announcing that the identification of Chinese netizens to be included in the lawsuit was complete.

The document contains detailed identification of Chinese netizens such as e-mail, IP address, and name.

They stated that it took several months as the identification process was difficult due to circumstances such as the lockdown in some areas of China due to COVID-19 and reported that the international lawsuit will begin in earnest in 2022.

It is natural for businesses to seek profit. However, a company declared war on the Chinese market, a large market in a country with a population of 1.4 billion, solely to protect its history. This is an exceptional case of corporate litigation that is attracting worldwide attention.

The CEO of Lakai Korea said, "Before I am a businessman, I am a Korean." He has been continuously introducing Korean design and history to the world for many years since the launch of the company.

After announcing the international lawsuit, many people expressed concern about such drastic action. However, citizens around the world are praying for the success of Lakai Korea, saying that it is a 'company that has stepped up for its country'.
