LittleFoot Developmental Services launches the BEE 360© method

Best Child Therapist in Singapore

LittleFoot Early Intervention Centre is pleased to announce their new proprietary program, BEE 360©, at their Parkway Parade Centre.

LittleFoot Developmental Services BEE 360© approach to child intervention and developmental therapy has proven effective with its beta test this year. “We believe that the key to a successful child is a combination of 4 developmental pillars, which comprise Behaviour, Education, Emotion and 360 family support,” says Nicole Yip, Program Director. “With our years of experience in early childhood intervention, we are looking for ways to get better results. When a child comes to our centre, we address problem behaviours, but we realize that it is challenging to be consistent with corrective measures as the child leaves our session. Every child processes information differently. The frustration and challenges that each child experiences is unique as the child’s reaction varies. It is important that we look at the child as a whole and the support we provide is a multifaceted 360 approach” says Nicole Yip, Program Director.

“Our BEE 360©  approach takes into account the emotions of the child. Our emotional therapy monitors the quality of the children’s relationship with their parents, peers and teachers. We build emotional resilience by teaching the child to acknowledge and accept emotions, not ignore and repress them. Knowing and understanding what is behind or underneath each “trigger point” means that the child’s emotional responses are easier to manage and contain. Building resilience in children helps them to overcome obstacles more efficiently while reducing the chances of them suffering from anxiety or other stress-related disorders as an adult,” says Vinitha Vincent Henry, Consultant.

“As a child spends a substantial amount of time at school, we monitor if a child is not on par developmentally with their peers.  Sometimes, we see a mismatch between a child’s input and effort in processing information and the output it produces. Our BEE 360© approach educational therapy designs a unique and specific and goal-directed action plan. It applies academic strategies and learning tools, specifically designed to improve the child’s performance in all subjects.  Our focus is on building compensatory skills and working within the student’s strengths and weaknesses” says Sharanya Rajendran, Program Director
