In a video speech promoted across various media platforms, along with digital billboards across Southwest Louisiana, one of Louisiana’s youngest Republican politicians, Jacob Colby Perry, endorses Eddie Rispone for Governor. In 2016, Jacob Colby Perry was elected into public office, Alderman for the Town of Welsh—a municipality with approximately 3,000 people—at the age of 23.
In the ad, Mr. Perry contributes the economy and the challenge that young college graduates like himself face in obtaining employment post-graduation for his decision to support Republican businessman, Eddie Rispone, for Governor.
As a business owner himself, Mr. Perry owns holding companies. He is the sole shareholder of Perry Premier Enterprises, LLC, which according to public records, maintains interest in at least 37 properties across at least 4 Louisiana Parishes ranging from commercial, agricultural, and residential. Perry Premier Enterprises, LLC also owns properties in Texas, Mississippi, and Florida, and according to the company website, “owns various investments in other businesses”.
Enthusiastic to witness change and progress for the State of Louisiana, along with a strong sense of patriotism as a United States military servicemember, Mr. Perry privately financed his publicized endorsement with the hope to energize young voters who often feel disenfranchised in the political process and encourage them to vote on November 16, 2019. In a written statement Mr. Perry said,
“I am clearly a strong supporter of Mr. Rispone for Governor. I encourage everyone to acknowledge the responsibility that we have to vote as it is a right that we have in America because of the selfless service of countless service men and women. And, ultimately, I encourage everyone to vote on November 16, 2019 while strongly recommending that voters vote for Eddie Rispone for Governor.”
