1 The nature of rongalite:

Physical properties: This product is a white crystalline substance obtained by the addition reaction between formaldehyde and sodium bisulfite saturated solution.
rongalite lump, sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate powder, sodium formaldehyde sulphoxylate granule is a strong reducing salt, white condensation block or powder, granular material, alkaline protection.
It is more stable at room temperature, but after heating, it will decompose into sulfite and formaldehyde and other substances, sulfite has strong reducing properties, and thus has a bleaching effect; the toxicity of the rongalite with its decomposition of formaldehyde, formaldehyde solution can be absorbed by the human body very quickly after oral, and the liver, kidneys, central nervous system to cause damage to the liver, and serious also lead to carcinoma and deformity lesions.

d. Sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate (powder, granule) should be in alkaline medium PH>8, acidic (acid limit PH>3) can make rangolite C decomposition of hydrogen sulfide.

3 Packaging:
Packed in iron/plastic drums lined with double polyethylene liners and sealed tightly, with a net weight of 50kg per drum. Sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate powder is packed in another 25kg bag.
4 Use:
Mainly used in printing and dyeing industry as a dyeing agent, colour extraction agent, reducing agent and used as activator of styrene-butadiene rubber and synthetic resin, also used for decolourisation and bleaching of some organic materials (e.g. synthetic rubber, sugar, food industry as bleaching agent), can be used in place of sodium hydrosulfite under certain specific conditions.
5Transport, storage precautions:
Sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate should be stored in a dry and cool place, prevent sun exposure, rain, not mixed with oxidants and acids, storage room does not contain acidic vapours, storage period of one year.
