At present, among about 8,000 people who are engaged in the production and construction of Sino-Agri Potash, over 5,000 people are Lao employees, accounting for 60%, and they are an indispensable backbone force in ensuring the stable operation of the factory’s production and construction. Whenever the harvest season comes, family harvest and company production are top priorities for every Lao employee. “In the past, all of my family were busy harvesting rice, which not only made us tired but also kept us from earning money. Since I came to Sino-Agri Potash, I am no longer worried about the rice harvest, but can work comfortably”, said a Lao Employee Bang.
Mr. Vong Chanthala, the head of Dongtai village, said with emotion, “Since each family has a large rice planting area, it usually took 7 or 8 days to harvest the rice in the past. However, Sino-Agri Potash can help us harvest all the rice for free in 1 day, which saves both time and labor, and is fast and efficient. Therefore, we are really grateful”.
The director of the Dongtai village police station said that Sino-Agri Potash has contributed to the local area for many years, maintained a harmonious relationship with the surrounding villages, and was unanimously praised by the local villagers.
