O.C. Tanner continues to THRIVE in India by helping employees thrive at work.

Hyderabad, 07 November, 2022: US Headquartered, leading employee rewards and recognition company O.C. Tanner celebrated its 95th anniversary at its Hyderabad office. With the infrastructure to accommodate over 150 employees, the technology centre also achieved a significant milestone of completing six years in Hyderabad.

With over 15 per cent of global employees now in India spread across Mumbai, Noida & Hyderabad, the company has established a strong foothold in the region.

Speaking at the event, Steve Fairbanks, their Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, mentioned that the culture in any of our office locations across the world is no different from the Headquarters, and our focus remains to walk the talk and put people over profit.

"We have seen that most global companies come to India not only to expand their talent pool globally but for the diversity of thought and innovation present in India. Today, it does not matter where our employees are based; building a strong culture always supersedes as it delivers better outcomes.", Steve said.

Rams Maddali – Vice President – India Technology Centre, spoke about this unique opportunity to invite families to build a stronger community. "This was like our Annual "Family Day" as our 95 Year Celebrations were themed around "We are Family". Celebrations from our US Office trickled down to London, Melbourne, Singapore, Noida, Mumbai, and the festivities finally culminated with a grand finale at Hyderabad. Telangana witnessed a steady growth in IT, forming 1/3rd of the Indian IT employment growth. We serve our global operations in Supply Chain, Client Success, Marketing, and Technology from India. Our enhanced capabilities ensure we can serve our clients across various time zones from India", said Rams.

Candy Fernandez – Head People & Great Work spoke about top priority areas for O.C. Tanner. “As we continue this journey, we are confident about hiring people at Hyderabad and our other locations in Mumbai and Noida. With Culture, Talent and Capability being the focus for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, we have sheer thrust on our People and prioritise the need to elevate the quality of teams to deliver at scale.”, said Candy.

Zubin Zack - Managing Director- South Asia, Middle East and Africa, expressed a positive growth outlook and said, "India locally contracts with over 100 global companies, and these numbers are increasing multifold yearly. We also have large locally headquartered clients across various industries, and we see that even US Headquartered companies now have part of their decision-making teams based in India for the world. This and other economic factors drive our growth story, and I strongly believe that India is on its way to becoming the third-largest economy by 2027."
