DLOVE is a luxury fashion brand that I’m building from the ground up

The story starts with me leaving my parent’s house at 21, I was still in college and in a rock band. My band and I got signed to a record label. We traveled the world performing our songs. I was selling thousands of tickets with no experience, Just a dream. For a long time I felt lost and mist-understood by the people around me, so being creative has always been my outlet. But soon things went left with my band.

There was a lack of knowledge of promoting festivals in a different country and before I knew it, things fell apart. I dropped out of college and was homeless, surfing from couch to couch for about a year. Until one day I got tired of the repetitive cycle that was happening in my life. I swallowed my pride and called my mom, I said “Mom, if you let me come back home I will get my act together”.

And that’s exactly what I did! I found a good job and started stacking my money. I started reading different books like “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, “ 48 Laws of Power” by Robert Greene, and “ The Secret”. After 2 to 3 years of stacking my money, I was ready to branch off and move out. Not too long after me moving out, I lost one of my childhood best friends. I went to his funeral and saw how many people he impacted and it made me think about the impression I would want to leave on the world.

That’s when the idea of starting my own clothing brand came to me. Now tell me have you ever seen a luxury fashion brand evolve in front of your very eyes? That’s what you see when you look at DLOVE, a luxury fashion brand that started in Dallas, TX with one man, Robbie D Love.
