A few years ago, Kenneth Allen Higginbotham was working at Taco Bell and had a dream to open his own clothing line. After working hard on developing the brand, he decided to quit his job and put all his energy into the business. He started looking for investors and found out there were not many people interested in an African American fashion brand. He was afraid of the financial risk involved with starting a business, but he knew he had to take a chance if he wanted to make it in the industry. After working relentlessly for months, De'Zire finally launched on February 5th 2019 with 100 pieces of merchandise. Kenneth said that he initially didn't expect to sell much since there weren't many other options for men's clothing in the market. It’s been almost a year since the launch and De'Zire is selling well. They are still looking for investors, but they are slowly making progress. Kenneth Allen Higginbotham has taken the fashion as well as art industry to another level; Kenneth Allen Higginbotham aka De'Zire quit working Taco Bell on just faith and has made a dream come true.
