‘Caught My Eye’ is the first single off the 17-Year-Old Singer/Songwriter’s highly anticipated album, ‘Dream Girl’, scheduled for release in early July 2022
Cincinnati—
In less than 3 years the 17-year-old singer/songwriter has launched her herbal hair and skin care brand (Princess Mudd Herbal Hair & Skin Care); self-released her debut EP titled ‘23’; and still managed to graduate from Northwest High School in Cincinnati, Ohio with a high GPA. When asked, how does she find the time to write and record music, she responded, “I’ve been writing lyrics since I was like 11-years-old, so it comes easy to me. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t work on music. I don’t have to find time because it’s just something that I naturally do.”
When asked about what has changed since she last released music, Taylor responded, “I’ve matured and learned a lot about what it takes to produce a quality sounding project. I’ve really grown since ‘23’ and I know the Royals (what she calls her fans) will hear that growth too,”
Taylor’s list of female artists she’d love to work with, coincidentally are the same artists she says are her biggest influences, she told us before quickly rattling each name off without second thought, “Cardi B, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, Rihanna, Maria Carey, Rae Sremmurd, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West), Snoop Dogg, and of course DRAKE.
Today, ‘Caught my Eye’ is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, ITunes, Amazon Music, Tidal and most other streaming platforms. The song is also available on Taylor Rae’s artist web page (https://www.HighKeyTaylorRae.com).
