Brandon, MB––June 6, 2022: QuickBooks has been regarded by many as an easier alternative to the advanced Sage 50cloud software with similar features and functionalities offered, but easier to use.
Previously known as Peachtree Software, Sage 50 is a hybrid solution that is installed on-premise, but also includes an option to connect to the application remotely if needed. Sage 50 can be a great choice for both small and growing businesses. Though not really suited for very small businesses or sole proprietors, Sage 50cloud Accounting offers three plans which include the Pro, which is a single-user system with limited features, Premium, which supports up to five users, and Quantum, which supports up to 40 users and, with its long list of features, is the best option for established businesses.
Users have reported the software to have an incredibly steep learning curve and is far more expensive than its competitors. With poor customer support, an outdated UI, and a lack of automations, this software could use some improvement. Sage 50cloud offers three pricing plans that can be purchased as a license or as a monthly or yearly subscription. While Sage is a bit expensive, the company has improved its pricing structure by adding a monthly subscription option instead of just a yearly, locked-in contract. Prices vary anywhere from $300-$2,300 depending on a business’s needs.
E-Tech offers an industry-standard conversion service from Sage 50 to all versions of QuickBooks. The conversion service will audit the results to ensure all financial reports such as the Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, and Balance sheets in QuickBooks match the original Sage data precisely.
