As a member of his Christian church, he began performing in talent shows and musical productions. Ashante PT Stokes a/k/a PTtheGospelSpitter is an Atlanta-based vocalist. He initially sang and performed handbells at the Hillside Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.  After finishing college, he created Serving the Peace, with the first business line, a rhythm and gospel music label. Following his academic marketing degree, he founded his own production house, Serving the Peace Productions. He blended his interests in music, commerce, and Christianity into the corporation. Ashante PT Stokes has a six-octave vocal range and composes all of his lyrics.

Fittingly, SfTK Remix won the Worldwide Tweets Best Gospel Song Award in New York City in March 2022. This prize was given for the excellence of the song. This song has the uniqueness and profound fascination, both of which have been felt by millions of music fans. This Song was judged on its lyrics by millions of music enthusiasts from every corner of the globe. The words impact the listener that they stay with them for a long time after they have heard them. BDS/MRC radio debuted the CHH panel March 7, 2021, which resulted in "SfTK" becoming a dual ranking hit and the first #1 on the CHH chart in history. South Africa, Belgium, and Switzerland were other countries where "SfTK" hit No. 1 on the Christian & Gospel iTunes charts.
