The Village Resort was created for delighting guests with the heavenly feeling and natural charm of village life. The whole purpose was to awaken the sensibility of our guests with the charm and glory of a bygone era when tranquility reigned supreme and life was infused with an inner peace.

With rapidly changing lifestyles, the imagery, traditions and experiences associated with the villages where the heart and soul of India resides are slowly and sadly, diminishing from our collective memory. The Village resort, located at the serene Mangattukara in Angamaly, a suburb of Koch is set on 15 acres of land. The resort is just 12 km from the Kochi International Airport and is a great place to stopover for extended holidays in Kerala.

The landscaping recreates the basic characteristics of a typical Kerala village. The resort houses two ‘Mana’ which are traditional homes in typical Kerala architecture. Some traditional houses and a few cottages all well located around the ‘village’ gives you the feeling of having returned to a ‘naatu vazhi’, the country path in a remote village.

The plot around the resort has fruit bearing trees like mangoes, jackfruit and of course coconut palms. There are even a few banana plantains. This land had been part of a village once and has been preserved in its original character. At the same time, the inside of the resort has every modern amenity and facility for a comfortable stay.

The Village is a great place to invite your friends from abroad or your overseas guest to. Here they will get a taste of typical Kerala life while enjoying all the comforts they are used to. They will also love the vegetable garden where organic vegetables are grown. These are then prepared into delectable dishes for the guests to savor.
