Hering’s WORP-Profit from recycling transformer oil

Hering’s Waste Oil Recycling Plants or WORP has an unmatched reputation to reduce your company’s costs and adds to the profit immensely by producing high quality base oil from used lube-oil. Employing a concept where non-cracking evaporation type front-end treatment of recycling transformer oil and Hering’s reactivation clay polishing system or adsorbent mineral polishing system are brought together, only four litres of used oil are required to generate 2.5 litres high quality lubricating oil. Interestingly earlier 160 litres of crude oil was required to generate the same amount of lubricating oil.

The energy capacities of waste oil after recycling transformer oil

Waste oil reportedly has more energy value than coal and can generate same energy as 18 kilowatt electricity. Two gallons of waste oil can run a normal household for 24 hours and recycling transformer oil creates alternate energy without meddling with the environment and saves the business from disposal and liability costs.

The oil is rescued from degradation and is cleansed through waste oil recycling process, dried and adsorbed to remove traces of water, acids, sludge and other contaminants. Besides saving costs, the concept increases the machine’s reliability and minimizes time spent in oil change outs.

Besides transformer oil, hydraulic oils and turbine oils are reclaimed through waste used oil recycling plant without downgrading the lubricant’s performance.

Hering’s WORP leads the way in recycling transformer oil

Not only does Hering’s waste used oil recycling plant leave a small footprint, but also has conversion rates as little as 10 US cents per litre which adds up to three times sales value of the oil in the process.

The non-cracking evaporator technology also known as NCE technology flash evaporates water from the waste oil and smears residual hydrocarbon as a thin film over a large surface under vacuum. In the presence of such vacuum, boiling point of oil is reduced where the oil is separated in waste oil recycling process and condensed efficiently and economically to give base oil in medium, low and high viscosities.

Undisputed supremacy of Hering’s RCPS and AMPS

To secure the resell value of the base oil produced by evaporation system, the base oil is stabilized and polished through Hering’s reactivation clay polishing system (RCPS) or adsorbent mineral polishing system (AMPS) and reduces sulphur content.

After yielding high quality group I and group II base oils in moderate investment, the waste oil can be directly disposed in landfills without pre-treatment. Hering supports a customized approach to recycle waste oil in different plant sizes which address low, medium and high throughputs with different flow rates and footprints. While medium throughputs assist recycling plants that supply base oil to blenders, high through put systems are employed by recyclers with larger collection area.

Quality and Service

Quality is an indispensible criterion in each of Hering’s products where the entire team is trained with quality management and quality assurance to enable products that exceed expectations. Hering VPT is first of its kind to be certified with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Hering offers free training on safe operation for client’s staffs and on-site service on customer demand which in turn is conducted with qualified partners. Besides assisting with plant services for those plants which are more than 30 years in operation, Hering is glad to assist with plant issues only 24 hours a day for 7 days per week.

About Hering

Since inception in 1909, Hering pioneers products such as transformer oil purification machines, transformer waste used oil recycling plant, transformer drying ovens, advanced vacuum applications, PCB dechlorination equipment and customized oil treatment solutions apart from training customers in transformer oil maintenance.

Hering VPT takes pride in German precision while offering high quality engineering products and services which maximizes the client’s plant uptime and accentuates their success.
