The Taiwan External Trade Council (TAITRA) and the Bureau of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Economic Affairs held a virtual tradeshow on August 12th to showcase the most high-end and innovative solutions from Taiwanese technology firms to audiences from India and around the world. Known as “COMTECH INDIA X Taiwan Excellence”, the event featuredthe unveiling of the latest products and keynote presentations from expert analysts. It was followed by a sourcing fair where local suppliers and prospective international buyers worked together to identify partnership opportunities.
Foreign governments and businesses have been especially impressed by the performances of smart technologies developed by Taiwanese firms in dealing with the challenges created by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Many of these domestic brandshave also successfully demonstrated their products on the platform provided by Taiwan Excellence in front of international audiences.
