“Did you know that you could park a car in the head of a Sperm Whale? Or that a Fin Whale pees enough to fill three bathtubs every day?!” asks Daniel van Wyke, casino manager at Springbok.

There are almost 40 species of whales and dolphins in South African waters, but the most common are Humpback and Southern Right whales.

“We have a special relationship with whales here in South Africa since our oceans are home to some amazing species.” said Van Wyke. “The more you learn about these incredible animals, the more amazing they get!”
