Poland, 03 April 2019 -- Surge Cloud is launching a new format of intelligent stores – no cashiers or sales assistants
Staffless stores are a new dimension of shopping. Surge Cloud start-up offers ready-made solutions and introduces this type of stores under Take&GO brand. The offer suits any retail chain including facility preparation, provision of equipment and implementation of a special app.
This solution was developed for the markets, which face a challenge of implementing a consistent look and compliance with standards of their stores. It is also a response to the needs of today’s retail chains.
- It is not only about shortage of workforce on the market, but also about meeting the requirements of more and more demanding customers – said Marcin Popiak, CCO of the Company – We want to set a new standard of commercial facility management, as well as being able to better control the availability of products and the sales process itself – he added.
Surge Cloud was developed for all these companies, which need support in designing their commercial facilities and search for effective innovations.
– We offer a modern solution, that is a staffless store, and the service of implementing a fully functional store at any place the retail chain may choose – said Marcin Dabrowski, CEO at Surge Cloud, the company introducing innovations in stationary sales.
Technology to optimise the sales process
The greatest asset of the store format by Surge Cloud is its technological model, the goal of which is intelligent sales management. The implemented solutions will allow the store manager to automate the facility management and eliminate shortage of products. Thanks to full automation the manager will instantly be informed about a need to replenish the stocks on the shelves, the level of sales and the best-selling products. A specially designed analytic system constantly collects and processes data to suggest the optimal sales and marketing operations.
Take&GO is the store where the client can come, pack the products and leave. The money will be collected directly from the payment card connected to the application. The technology also allows for sending the receipt to a chosen telephone number or e-mail address. Such facility can operate with no staff, 24/7.
A fully scalable automated store format
The first attempts to create such facilities were completed by the retail giant – Amazon, which has been testing the Amazon Go project for two years. In their test store the company placed special cameras and sensors while removing traditional cash desks and staff. The clients who enter the Amazon Go store walk through special gates where they have to scan their smartphones.
- The Amazon’s solution is for their own store, while we offer implementation of a ready-made facility format for any interested retail chain – said Marcin Dabrowski – It is the idea of retail 4.0 transferred into the real world – he added.
Surge Cloud is negotiating with retail chains and government authorities supporting the digitalization and innovations in the region of UAE and Saudi Arabia. You can find out more about the Take&GO format during the GISEC exhibition, which takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on April 1st – 3rd 2019 and directly on the website: emirates.surgecloud.co.
