Event for Ojass the Superhero of Shyamavali is a huge success

Introducing ‘Ojass the Superhero of Shyamavali’ a new publication by popular renown Indian author Swapnil Saurav which has been making waves on social media and reaching it’s audience in India and more recently in the US due to the huge success of the recent event for the release of the book ‘Ojass the Superhero of Shyamavali’ by Swapnil Saurav.

 

Book launch event was held on the 27th of January 2019 at the Replay Social Cafe, Hyderabad. Guests for the occasion were Dayanath Jha, Dr Surya Kaladhar and Chandra Mohan Karn. This generated mass support for release the book locally and online across social. The event was anchored by Pooja Desai with Arun Kumar being the keynote speaker. He spoke about the importance of book reading especially for kids. Other speakers on occasion were Manoj Shandilya, Meenakshi Choudhary and Devika Das. They praised the authors work and said that “writing books for kids is no kids play”. Gunjan Shri read a chapter from the Maithili version of the book. Author Swapnil spoke about how his son Ojass inspired him to write the book. Navneet Singh, the French translator of the book, spoke about the challenges he faced in translation and shared his experience. Mahboob Hussain, co-founder of HYDRAW gave the vote of thanks. There were various kids performing at the event. Ritisha and Manya sang classical song and Devesh performed a dance. Magician Sreenivas performed and entertained the audience with the event concluding with a very special dinner.

 

The book ‘Ojass the superhero of Shyamavali’ has been a hit with international audiences and has been translated into several different languages such as English (by Swapnil Saurav), Hindi (translation by Swapnil Saurav), Maithili (translation by Chandra Mohan Karn), Telugu(translation by Dr Surya Kaladhar), French (translation by Navneet Singh), Portugueses (translation by Anil Kumar Yadav) and Chinese (translation by Ms Chen).
