BAHAMAS (bertramvillagebahamas.com) – The Bertram Village Township Development Team, helmed by Bahamas native Ian Frazier, has chosen Entrepreneur/Consultant Harold Whaley to lead the charge in the building of a new township “Bertram Village”. Bertram is the surname of the forefathers, who were awarded the land by the Queen of England for their help in the fight against the Pirates of the Caribbean over 200 years ago.
“Bertram Village Township has been a vision of ours for the past 2 years, and we have worked extremely hard to bring this project to life”, remarks Ian Fraser. “This land has been in my family for centuries. The number one priority in putting this project together is to establish jobs for my people.”
Harold continues, “This project really resonated with me. Especially when the implementation of providing jobs with respectable salaries was presented. My position is to vet, organize and provide the best talent to bring this township to life. I was born and raised in Florida and took my first trip to the Bahamas in 1984 as a serviceman in the US Navy. I immediately fell in love with the people and the land and I’m ecstatic for this once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s not every day that you get to be a part of building a new town from scratch, but the most rewarding piece is to be able to transform people’s lives for the better.”
Bertram Village will be located on the island of Eleuthera Bahamas. The Township will be established in the northern portion of Eleuthera, the city will be erected on 6000 acres of prime real estate just north of the renowned Glass Window Bridge.
The Glass Window Bridge is one of the few places on earth where you can compare the rich blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean on one side of the road and the calm Bight of Eleuthera
(often incorrectly called the Caribbean Sea) on the other side, separated by a strip of rock just 30 feet wide.
The proposed 15-year plan includes the following estimated jobs to be created:
Infrastructure (100-300 Jobs)
School/K-12 (100-150 Jobs)
Homes (300-350 Jobs)
Exquisite Shopping (400-500 Jobs)
