Methodology
EDsmart's rankings were compiled based on data from the College Scorecard, focusing on schools primarily awarding undergraduate degrees. Gender determination was based on binary classifications from school records, and median earnings were calculated for students who received financial aid, were working ten years after college, and were no longer enrolled in school. The data, based on wages reported to the IRS via W-2 tax forms, considered schools with the highest median salary overall in cases of ties.
