Coinsbit is an overseas exchange with many users. Based on CoinMarketCap, its average transaction value for 24 hours reaches 1 trillion won (KRW) and the number of visitors per week reaches 2 million. Waffle Stay announced that it chose this overseas exchange so that European users, who will be the main customer base of the service, can conveniently purchase Waffle Tokens and make hotel reservations around the world.
Waffle Stay will launch a hotel reservation service for 12,000 hotels in Korea from April, and continue to expand to overseas hotels such as Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand sequentially. Furthermore, it is preparing a travel community suitable for the Web 3.0 era focused on travelers.
An official from Waffle Stay said, "Travelers can generate revenue in this platform. For example, in the Waffle Community, travelers can upload a video review, and when a new reservation is made through the video, a portion of the reservation fee is paid as a reward to the person who uploaded the information. Waffle Token serves as the key currency of the Waffle Community.”
In addition, as the Waffle Community expands, it is also aiming for additional listing on domestic and overseas exchanges for smooth trading of Waffle Tokens.
Waffle Stay is a global hotel reservation service operator established in 2020. It is processing reservations for 2.9 million hotels in 70 countries in partnership with global OTA operators. In particular, with location-based NFT, it provided verification services including reservation, access and review upload for visitors at the large-scale event of the Youth Day where 100,000 people participated, and demonstrated that blockchain elements can be applied to real business.
