SEOUL, South Korea — November 5, 2026 — South Korea's beloved magician Choi Hyun-woo visited Yangcheolbuk Gopchang's Seongsu Station branch in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, together with singer Doori, model and actress Yoo Chae-ryeon, and chef Seo Jin-young. As the eighth destination in the "K-Artist Gourmet" series, the visit brought together four people working in different fields, including magic, music, acting, and cooking, to share food and conversation.

Choi Hyun-woo began learning magic in earnest after showing a magic trick to a friend during his high school years. He later continued his training under magician Lee Heung-sun and gained experience at festivals, events, and performances. He believes that even when the same props are used, a performance can differ depending on the person presenting it. Rather than focusing on figuring out the secrets behind magic tricks, he hopes audiences will enjoy the moments unfolding before their eyes. During the visit, he also shared his unpretentious personal taste, mentioning that he likes lamb.
Doori expressed great satisfaction after tasting the Korean beef gopchang (beef intestines). She described it as "so delicious that you wouldn't even notice if one of two people eating it died," using a Korean expression to emphasize how delicious the food was, and praised the restaurant as the best dining spot in Seongsu-dong. After working as a member of a girl group, Doori became a trot singer and gained public recognition by finishing seventh on TV Chosun's "Miss Trot." Known for her bright and lively charm, as reflected in her nickname "Princess Doori," she continues her activities by communicating directly with audiences through performances, including nationwide tours.
Model and actress Yoo Chae-ryeon recommended Volcano Chicken Feet alongside the Korean beef gopchang. The savory gopchang and spicy, chewy chicken feet offered the enjoyment of two different flavors. After building her career as a model, she expanded into acting through appearances in Zico's "Eureka" music video and the play "Shadow Trial." More recently, she has shown her candid and distinctive personality on television programs such as "Groom Class 2," displaying her diverse charms.
Chef Seo Jin-young also gave a positive review of the chicken feet, particularly noting their chewy texture. Having pursued television and modeling activities alongside her culinary career, she has taken on a new challenge by launching her own clothing brand, "JINYOUNG." Drawing on her experience of moving alone from Ulsan to Seoul and making her own way, she expressed her desire to create clothing that gives courage to women who are feeling worn out. She also continues to participate regularly in volunteer activities for abandoned animals.
Yangcheolbuk Gopchang's Seongsu Station branch offers a variety of dishes, including a Korean beef gopchang platter, Volcano Chicken Feet, Korean beef yukhoe (raw beef), steamed eggs, and radish salad bibimbap. Choi Hyun-woo, Doori, Yoo Chae-ryeon, and Seo Jin-young, who have each built their own careers in their respective fields, completed a special dining experience that day by sharing delicious food and relaxed conversation.
