Noah of Giant Heart and the Everkind Tales is a collection of three short stories for children by Gael J. B. Orr. Noah is a gentle young giant in Faeland. During a big thunderstorm, Noah finds a scared little dragon named Tuppernox hiding underneath a fern. Soon, the two become fast friends, and Tuppernox teaches Noah about empathy. In the Petalsong Meadow, fairy sisters Peyton and Penelope come across senior fairies from school. They invite Peyton on a tour of Crystal Verge's silver waterfalls. Peyton follows the older fairies to the falls. But soon, she learns to listen to her wings. For some reason, Jayverin Larkspur of the Sing-Along Meadows doesn't speak in school. But after a visit from his teacher at home, Jayverin begins to feel confident about sharing his unique gifts with his friends.

There are many things to like about this book. The stories featuring gentle giants, dragons, and fairies are bound to spur the imaginations of young readers. Author Gael J. B. Orr weaves in lessons about empathy, intuition, and social bonding into these narratives that children will benefit from immensely. I enjoyed all three of these tales. They bring you a sense of wonder and awe as only great fantasy stories can. I found them very heartwarming, and I had a smile on my face by the time I finished reading. The characters are adorable.
