The ribbon cutting took place at 4:20pm at 275 Deane Drive, Rockford, Illinois. The Wake & Bakery offers cannabinoid infused drinks and baked goods. This is a first of its kind experience for Rockford, Illinois. 

Mrs. Buckbee’s Wake & Bakery is designed for canna-curious customers who are interested in learning about cannabis. “We have a very knowledgeable staff who can answer questions and explain how the different cannabinoids work,” said owner, Erik Carlson. “Whether you are looking for pain relief, stress relief, or a more psychoactive experience, we have got you covered.” The bakery sells hemp and hemp-infused products with a variety of cannabinoids, such as CBD, CBG, delta-8 THC and delta-9 THC.

The Wake & Bakery from Buckbee Weed Co. has a wide array of tasty treats, including Chocolate Chip cookies, Macadamia Nut cookies, Chocolate Fudge brownies, and Chunky Monkey blondies. “It’s a dream come true to be able to bake all day,” said head baker, Misty Kegel. “It’s an even sweeter dream to be baking with weed!” Misty Kegel and Kasia Musiatewicz have been working around the clock to come up with tasty treats to infuse. With homemade candies, cookies, muffins, and coffee drinks, there is something here for everyone.
