Pave the Way for Success with Effective Tools and Actionable Strategies by Bayode Okusanya

Bayode Okusanya is a gifted entrepreneur, investor, and speaker on a mission to equip Generation Z with the knowledge to unlock their full potential. The multidisciplinary professional has recently published a book power-packed with crucial life lessons to help recent college grads explore new avenues of success.

A global economy and unprecedented access to information have impacted modern definitions of success. A thriving career, emotional and financial stability and thriving relationships have become hallmarks of “the good life.” For recent college grads, the future seems rather unclear especially since traditional education has been disrupted by the COVID pandemic.

Here enters Bayode Okusanya -- an entrepreneur, author, and recent graduate of Princeton University on a mission to help lost Gen-Zers discover their true calling, leverage their hidden talents, and unlock their full potential.

Bayo is a full-time analyst at a budding venture capital firm, "Chaac Ventures" in Santa Monica, California, and Co-Director of the ICON Careers program, where he supports underrepresented college students by helping them secure internships and job opportunities. Bayo capitalizes on his firsthand knowledge of startup launching and business development to teach audiences of all ages about launching startups, intelligent investments, risk-taking, branding, networking, educational success, and more.

During his time at Princeton, Bayo served as the Financial Coordinator of Princeton Envision: a non-profit that brought together innovators, engineers, scientists, business leaders, intellectuals, and policymakers to discuss new technologies. He was also a founding team member and Chief Financial Officer of Princeton Empower, a group under Princeton’s Entrepreneurship Club that promoted financial literacy among college students. During his final year at Princeton, he became the Vice President of Finance for the Africa Summit at Princeton initiative, where he helped develop the first New Venture competition for African startups on Princeton’s campus and received the Africa Summit Fellowship. Bayo was highly engaged as an undergraduate student of Princeton University. When asked about his experiences, Bayode said:

“I was lucky enough to find these opportunities because I made an effort to constantly grow past my comfort zone. Now, I’d like to help those struggling in my generation learn how to do the same.”

To share his wisdom and experiences, Bayode authored and published a guidebook titled “Life Lessons, Vol. 1: 47 Tips to Transcend Your Education,” a comprehensive manual focused on helping Gen-Z overcome the struggles of balancing their education with their personal lives and assisting anyone who may be lost in life and seeking some answers. The book contains 47 essential lessons which the author experienced and documented during his time at Princeton. He hopes that people can avoid unexpected mistakes by learning from these lessons, so they can move full speed ahead towards their dreams and achieve their life's purpose in the process.
