- Increase in milk price procurement to Rs 670 from Rs 655 for kg fat

Sangam Dairy Chairman , Dhulipala Narendra Kumar stated the dairy achieved 1100 crores of turnover this year while addressing the journalists after the annual board of directors meeting held on Wednesday at Sangam dairy.
He added this achievement was possible due to the great cooperation from the producers, consumers and the employees.
This financial year, dairy is going to pay around 45 crores of rupees to the milk producers as a bonus.
As the prices of all commodities are increased, to support the milk producers, Board of directors approved to pay more price to the milk they are procuring.
Management approved the price increase of buffalo milk to Rs 670 from Rs 655 for kg fat. Similarly cow milk procurement price. from farmers will be Rs 250 from Rs 238/- for kg fat.
This financial year dairy procured 5.5 crore litres of buffalo milk and 6.75 cr lit of cow milk. Next year set the target of milk procurement of 16 crore litres.
As dairy is farmer based, for the sake of farmers Sangam dairy is launching all varieties of agricultural seeds with top quality very soon under the supervision of agricultural scientists.
Dairy started a new chilling center at Anantapur and 6000 liters of milk is getting collected. Planned to start a new chilling centre at Vinukonda, Guntur district and 3 chilling centres in Nellore district and 3 chilling centres in Chittoor district this year.
Board approved to start a new processing unit with a capacity of one lakh litres processing milk and 50 tons of curd .
In this board meeting Board directors, M.D. Gopala krishnan and senior managers from all departments participated.
