The document will be entitled «Ufa Charter» and will be signed during the «Small and Medium-Sized Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS Regions» that will be held on 26-27 September in Ufa.

The V Anniversary « Small and Medium-Sized Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS Regions » will be attended by 2,500 representatives of public authorities, business representatives, experts and public figures from 30 countries, as well as representatives of international organizations (UNIDO, UNESCO, UNICEF, etc.). The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev is invited to participate in the Forum.

Representatives of all the BRICS member states took part in elaboration of the Charter.

« I support the general goal of the International Charter of business protection, which is important in order to unify the approach of the participating countries in the protection of businesses and to ensure transfers of legal technologies in this area. This initiative will provide a very interesting experience in the joint development of such documents with Russian law experts », - said Bruno Barata, Secretary General of the foreign affaires committee of the Brazilian Federal Bar Association.

The Charter is based on special recommendations for supporting safe and predictable conditions for small and medium-sized entrepreneurship, joint resistance to administrative abuses, promoting efficient cooperation in the protection of entrepreneurs’ rights.

« International cooperation in ensuring protection of business activity contributes to unleashing the huge potential of good neighbourliness, unity and partnership between States and their peoples. The establishment of common rules and mechanisms to ensure the security of business activities contributes to more efficient sharing of opportunities », - said Radiy Khabirov, Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

In addition to Charter signing, 18 business events will be included in the Forum’s program. One of the Forum’s brightest sessions will be « SCO and BRICS. International partnership institutions » organized by UNIDO and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

The other topics that will be discussed during the Forum: « Support for fast-growing small business companies of SCO and BRICS regions », « Cooperation for business protection in SCO and BRICS member states », « The role of women in the development of creative industries in the context of the fourth industrial revolution », « Family entrepreneurship as a driver of economic development of SCO and BRICS member states », « The role of interregional cooperation in the implementation of the National project « Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurship initiative », « Tourism as a powerful factor of the accelerated development of integration between the SCO and BRICS regions », « Innovation growth infrastructure », « Private investment in the territorial economy. Stock market practices », « Logistics capabilities. Barriers and Development ». Traditionally the Forum will include a media session « Investment attractiveness of the region in business media ».
