Architecture firm Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) revealed in a statement on their website that they have commenced marine and enabling works on Wasl Hospitality and Leisure’s The Island Project. The Island Project which was designed by Dutch architects UN Studio will feature popular Las Vegas Hotels brands like MGM, Bellagio, and Aria for the first time in UAE.

BSBG confirmed that they will be delivering lead consultancy, executive architecture, structural engineering, and construction supervision services for The Island.

The Island is located on a 10.5 ha island off the coast of Umm Suqeim in Dubai and will feature 1,400 hotel rooms, suites, and apartments along with retail, food, and beverage, and anchored entertainment options.

The Island Project expected to create a huge number of jobs in both the construction and Facility Management sector.
