Pulwama Attack - Protests and Candle March Continues

New Delhi: The Indians have not been able to recover from the shock they have received in the form of an unscrupulous Pulwama Attack by Pakistan. The grief and anger spilt onto the streets as the families of the martyred soldiers waited for their coffins in Jammu & Kashmir.  Raising slogans and defying curfew, people of Jammu & Kashmir are coming out to lament the loss of our brave soldiers.

The emotions ran high as the outraged protestors met at India Gate and Jantar Mantar holding candlelights to show solidarity with the families of the martyrs. The protests have continued on Sunday and the Delhi Police has enhanced security in the areas where the protests are extreme.

Teachers, students, corporate officials and government employees from all around Delhi have been walking with candlelights appealing for a befitting reply to this inhuman act by Pakistan. Their claim was supported by the BJP MP Udit Raj who also joined the march and opined that the sacrifice of our courageous CRPF Jawans must not go waste.

Mathur Verma, the Deputy Commissioner of Police made it clear that the protests and candle marches are peaceful and special deployments have been made by the department to strengthen security. PCR’s and Parakram Vans have also been made ready for dealing with emergencies.

People have shown great sympathy and empathy with the families of the slain soldiers. Blood donation camps have been set up and prayer meeting has been taking place in Connaught Place for people to come and pay homage to the martyrs.

People have been really traumatized by this massive loss and want the government of India to take a strong stand against it.

There are various organizations who participated in the candle march. For instance, Workly, a coworking space in Delhi took part in a candle march. Workly has encouraging and creative workspaces, for all business sizes. They offer easy accessibility, workstation, conference room, recreation zone, high-speed internet, etc. Workly co-spaces are based in all premium locations of South Delhi and is close to the metro stations.
