Harrington joins team in critical moment of company growth and expansion
DECEMBER 11, 2018 - The team at Fitpeak is thrilled to announce that they have just added Shark Tank’s Kevin Harrington as an advisor to their company.
Aside from his appearances on Shark Tank, Harrington’s entrepreneurial expertise includes being a pioneer in the “As Seen On TV” and infomercial movements. His business acumen exceeds 40 years of experience, and Harrington is also the co-founder of the Electronic Retailers Association (ERA) and a co-founding board member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).
Harrington joins Fitpeak at a critical time in the company’s growth, as it has just announced a public campaign on MicroVentures, which aims to raise capital for its public launch. For as little as $100, the public is capable of investing in a company along side Kevin Harrington, and a phenomenal team at Fitpeak.
“We are ecstatic to have Kevin on board. He has had immense success in countless industries, and has demonstrated he understands how to grow a business in various stages.” Said Dillon Auxier, the CEO of Fitpeak. “He continues to deliver great results, and we look forward to a long path of success while he is with us.”
Fitpeak is a groundbreaking new software that connects fitness trainers, instructors, and coaches with clients in various areas. By connecting fitness pros and clients based on location and need, Fitpeak lets clients book sessions virtually and instantaneously. Pros receive a number of benefits through a well-rounded back-end dashboard that includes scheduling, payment, and communication solutions, and clients get to search for pros in categories such as dance, yoga, personal training, bootcamp, and boxing, all while choosing pros based on reviews, experience, and more.
For pros, using Fitpeak starts by creating a profile. The first 30 days is free, and during this time and beyond, pros get to seamlessly meet new clients, schedule appointments, conduct sessions, and get paid.
Through the Fitpeak MicroVentures campaign, the company aims to raise capital for further research and development to improve the software further. The first version of the Fitpeak platform is slated to launch in early 2019.
According to the Kevin Harrington, “Consumer tech marketplaces are taking over the world. Uber, Airbnb, Zillow and Upwork all dominate their respective industries, and Fitpeak is aiming to address the Active Professional market.
Bringing Harrington aboard as an advisor further ensures that Fitpeak will be going in the right direction in their development and launch.
“It’s exciting to be part of a company that not only promotes an active and healthy lifestyle, but provides activity-based entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to grow their business,” said Harrington.
While many Americans spend hundreds of dollars on fitness and health each month, a very small percentage goes towards personal trainers. Activity-based pros have little direct exposure to the market and Fitpeak aims to solve this issue with a marketplace that benefits pro while also helping clients find the services they want.
