- HEROWORKS searches for partners in the tourism and tech sectors to supply its revenue management solution to the Vietnamese accommodation market
- Accelerates the development of the Vietnamese version of the hotel revenue management solution DatAmenity
Seoul, Korea - 23/10/2024 - (SeaPRwire) - HEROWORKS, a South Korean hospitality tech company, is seeking local partners in Vietnam's tourism and tech sectors to supply its hotel revenue management solution, DatAmenity, to the Vietnamese accommodation market.
In September of last year, HEROWORKS visited hotels in Da Nang, Vietnam, to conduct local demand research. The company has been focusing on the rapidly growing tourism industry in Vietnam and aimed to understand local lodging facility management systems and needs. Based on the results of this market research, HEROWORKS has completed the development of the Vietnamese version of DatAmenity and is now fully prepared to supply its revenue management solution to the Vietnamese market.
HEROWORKS is confident that applying the DatAmenity service to Vietnamese accommodations will enable efficient operations and revenue management, helping to meet the surging demand in Vietnam's tourism industry. Ahead of its official entry into the Vietnamese market, HEROWORKS announced that it is currently seeking local companies with which to establish long-term partnerships, aiming for service enhancement and business expansion.
DatAmenity is the first service in Korea to introduce a revenue management system (RMS) for hotels and is currently the top-ranked solution in the Korean market. The system collects and analyzes room data (pricing information, sales status, etc.) registered on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) for all types of lodging facilities, including hotels, motels, resorts, and pensions. It helps set the optimal room prices to maximize sales.
The DatAmenity solution is provided as a cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service), which differs from traditional hotel solutions by allowing users to easily access and use it anytime, anywhere. Currently, the service is being used by around 500 lodging facilities and has received positive feedback.
One of DatAmenity’s standout features is its differentiated technology for comparing room prices by room type. HEROWORKS identified the challenge where the same room types had different names across various hotels, making accurate price comparison difficult. In response, they developed a system that allows users (clients) to classify competitor hotel rooms based on their own room standards. This proprietary technology is unique to DatAmenity and has been granted a patent, further proving its innovation.
HEROWORKS CEO Lee Chang-ju expressed, “There is a growing demand for data-driven revenue management in Vietnam's hospitality industry. We are looking for a Vietnamese partner to collaborate with and help local hotels and lodging facilities establish optimal revenue management strategies.”
Meanwhile, HEROWORKS is a hospitality technology company specializing in developing automated systems for hotel revenue management. To address the gaps that existing hotel operational systems, such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and Channel Management Systems (CMS), cannot resolve, HEROWORKS has developed and operates a distinctive 'Hotel Revenue Management Solution.' Notably, the solution provides features that establish 'optimal room sale prices' and enable comprehensive viewing and management of 'hotel customer reviews,' contributing to enhanced hotel revenues.
