Hyderabad, 22 August, 2023: Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad conducted a unique workshop on shoulder disabilities and the advances in treatment of shoulder disabilities.
Shoulder 360 – the workshop offered a 360-degree, expert perspective on shoulder disabilities and associated diagnosis & treatments. The outstanding orthopedic team at Continental Hospitals consisting of – Dr K Gowtham Chowdhary, Dr GK Sudhakar Reddy, Dr Chakradhar Reddy, Dr Arun Reddy, Dr Sri Charan Reddy, Dr K Varun and physiotherapist Dr Srinivas Reddy were in attendance and offered their unique insights into shoulder disabilities, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Continental Hospitals Founder & Chairman Dr Guru N Reddy noted that the urban lifestyle, with a propensity to sit for long hours in incorrect posture, changing dietary habits and lack of physical exercise all makes us susceptible to increasing shoulder related ailments. He also opined gym work outs, golf , tennis, badminton type of sports activities if not properly guided can result in acute and chronic shoulder injuries. After shoulder movement is vested in the art of physics of locomotion. Proper knowledge is a must !
