Disgraced Trump Lawyer Parlatore Loses In Court Of Appeal Representing Fallen Rocker Thomas Cummings (Tommy Vext) In Domestic Violence Case

Los Angeles, California: Div. Four of the Court of Appeal for this district has affirmed Thomas Cummings, known for his stage name “Tommy Vext” is still liable for attorney fees under the Domestic Violence Protection Act (“DVPA”), directly to attorney Alphonse F. Provinziano.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Joshua D. Wayser on June 14, 2021, ordered that the money be paid by Thomas (Vext) Cummings, while his legal team argued in the opening brief that “Mr. Cummings presented significant and detailed evidence of his financial status and inability to pay nearly $100,000 in legal fees.” Essentially, Vext pleaded that he is broke.

The judge commented that Cummings—a heavy-metal singer/songwriter better known by his stage name of Tommy Vext—“was out of control” in his actions toward the petitioner, fitness model Whitney Johns, which “led to the issuance of a restraining order.” He added that she, rather than Cummings, “should not have to pay” attorney fees for the “privilege” of her gaining protection from him. This is at least the fifth restraining order filed by a citizen against Cummings for similar behavior.

Evidence had previously been presented that Cummings (Vext) went on a podcast media tour lying about this case, the judges remarks, and judgement verdict to the public while continuing to abuse Johns on “Real AF with Andy Frisella podcast” (Owner of 1st Form), “Dumb Blonde with Bunnie XO,” “Dropping Bombs with Brad Lea,” and recently appeared on “Timcast IRL.” Cummings was observed posting recently on his Instagram that he’s taking women to court to “get riches from these bit*ches” after another onslaught of over 100 harassing posts to women who have filed orders against him were seen in his stories.

The domestic violence restraining order provided that Cummings may “not POST photos, videos or information to any internet or social media which Respondent has access or control… regarding Petitioner without Petitioner’s written consent.”

Parlatore attempted to argue that it is against his clients first amendment right to free speech to stop him from harassing and abusing his victim online.

His request to appear remotely for oral arguments was denied. The case is Johns v. Cummings, B313964.
