Hyderabad, 27 April, 2022: Lifespan Lions Won Doctors Premier Cricket league (DPCL) -2022 played at Abhiram Cricket County, Donthanpally, Hyderabad.

The matches were supported by doctors from the Indian Medical Association (IMA), AP Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Federation. The league was held in Hyderabad, followed by matches in Vizag, Vijayawada and Tirupati of Andhra Pradesh.

 8 teams and over 125 players participated in the league.

Dr Ajendra from Lifespan Lions won Man of the Match and Man of the series award. Dr Prem Kumar the captain of Lifespan Lions put a special word praise for Dr Siddharth for his consistent performance, Dr Gulshan Kumar for his Wicket Keeping skills, Dr Chandrashekar and Dr Krishna Bhargav for their bowling skills.

Lifespan Lions beat Sunshine Hospitals and KIMS Knight Riders in the league stage, Apollo Gastro Avengers in Semifinals and Dr Neeti Mal’s Warrior Tigons in the final to lift the trophy of champions of Doctor’s Premier League-2022.

Speaking on the occasion Mr Narendra Ram Nambula CMD of Lifespan Pvt Limited (Owner of Lifespan Lions Team) congratulated his team members for showing an exemplary display of sportsmanship, praised all participating teams and thanked the organizer’s for this successful event. He said this a Tribute to all the Doctors who have worked selflessly throughout their life for the society.
