J released his first album of the year, "The Introduction," with his lead single "Keep It Krunk," after 11 years of hiatus from the music industry. The track was dropped on 15th April 2022 in Hip-Hop and Rap genres. This new album is released and distributed by E-lete Artist Records LLC.

The new single is available on Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube Music, and major digital streaming platforms. The album has a total of 11 songs where J. L. J is spitting fire with his fantastic rap verse.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jeffery Lynn Jefferson has captivated audiences through his music with his solid foundation. He started rapping at the tender age of 16 and would bunk school to attend local talent shows at neighborhood clubs. The Houston-born artist wanted to pursue a career in music, so he kept hustling in his teenage years and got better at music and more competent in business at the same time.

In his early twenties, he released his own mix tapes, not wanting to sign any record labels. His big break came when he met 'D' Sheezy to form his very own E-lete Artist Records. In 2007, he got married and turned away from music for the time being. J. L. J dropped his last album in 2011, but due to some misfortunate events starting from money issues, and divorce to living in a shelter, he couldn't come back.

But now, after 11 years, with the grace of God, J. L. J is back. But what we have for sure is that this man will continue to break the music scene after all this time and hardships he has gone through! According to J. L. J, his return is a debut because of a long break, and fans don't know what to expect. When asked what made him return to making music again, J. L. J replied, "I didn't wanna lay on my death bed asking myself what if."
